A procession on a red carpet under a open-sided shelter. At center, a figure with long dark hair wears a rust-red garment, a red and white flower garland, a gold necklace and a rudraksha mala, walking beneath a large multicoloured umbrella with red, yellow and pink fringe. Attendants in saffron-orange dhotis and red-brown robes flank him; several blow long brass horns and one carries a flag. Behind, a banner shows a world map and an event logo. A central figure in rust-red robes with a black turban-like cap and a red flower garland walks barefoot, flanked by a man in orange holding a decorated umbrella and a man in rust-brown robes with a rudraksha mala. Attendants in orange and saffron dhotis and white clothing stand on both sides, some with hands folded in namaskar. Ornate ceremonial parasols with gold and red patterns are carried in the background, and a golden leaf-shaped standard stands at right. The scene suggests a temple procession with Hindu ritual attendants.2016-01-11Photo 11693901A procession on a red carpet under a open-sided pavilion with colourful tassels. A man in the centre wears a red-brown dhoti and shawl, a red and white flower garland, a gold pendant and layered rudraksha malas, and has a red-and-white tilak on his forehead; he walks forward with his hands at his sides. Behind him a bearer holds a large multicoloured fringed parasol with a pink lotus motif, and an attendant carries a smaller decorated umbrella. Surrounding them are men and women in saffron-orange and red garments, many with rudraksha malas, some with hands pressed in prayer, and drummers playing orange-bodied drums and a long horn at the left edge. Several people are sitting or standing at the edges. This is a temple-style procession with parasols and drums.2015-04-21June 15 20142014-06-15 +2 copiesAugust 14 20172017-08-14 +1 copiesJune 04 20142014-06-04June 12 20142014-06-12A procession on a paved walkway lined with trees.
