Several men in orange and saffron robes carry a palanquin through shallow water in a stone-edged tank. The palanquin is draped in red cloth and decorated with red, orange and white marigold garlands, and holds a small deity murti under a gilded canopy. Behind them, tiered red stone steps are lined with rows of small potted plants and stone pillars. Several men wear rudraksha malas. The procession appears to be a ritual immersion or bathing of the deity in the tank.
