A photograph taken in dark surroundings with the light falling on a smiling man with long, swept-back dark hair and a full beard. He wears a red-orange garment, a gold necklace and a small red mark on his forehead, and he holds a small object in one hand. Around him, several people in silhouette fill the frame, one at right with curly hair holding something in the hand raised toward the centre. Swamiji (probable): the long swept-back hair, red-orange clothing, gold necklace and forehead mark are the visible cues for the central smiling figure.
