A large outdoor crowd gathers around a procession. In the centre, a figure in an orange-saffron robe and a long orange flower garland stands on a decorated palanquin-like platform with a golden canopy and a deity murti draped in flowers. Men in orange and red robes and white-clad devotees walk alongside, some holding long ceremonial staffs with orange tassels. Surrounding onlookers, many in white and pastel clothing, raise their hands in greeting, and several people photograph with phones. A red banner and a wooden cart with a golden panel are visible at the edges, along with white flower offerings on the ground.

At the centre, a figure in an orange-saffron shawl and a heavy orange marigold garland stands on a raised platform, with white robes beneath, hands raised. Beside and in front of this figure, two shaved-headed men in saffron-orange robes walk, one holding a long ceremonial staff. Behind them, people in white and orange clothing, some carrying ritual staffs and tridents, surround the group. In the foreground, a small ornate silver-and-glass shrine carrying a deity murti dressed in red and decorated with orange and white flower garlands is borne on a wooden ratha-style cart, with a yellow painted vehicle at left. Many spectators in white, pink, green and red clothing reach out, clap and photograph, filling the street on both sides. A camera operator is visible at centre. The shrine and procession suggest a ratha procession.
