A group of young dancers in saffron-orange dhoti-style garments and rudraksha malas performs energetically on a striped red and cream mat in a pillared hall. Several dancers have long braided hair with beaded strands, and some wear beaded necklaces and bangles. Behind them stand carved stone pillars topped with tall decorative poles painted with blue, yellow and red geometric motifs, and a few spectators watch from the edges. The dancers are mid-movement, arms and legs flung out, with expressive faces.
