A photograph of a devotee pouring petals from a woven white basket over a figure seated at the lower left, mostly out of frame. Red and yellow petals and marigold-like flowers fall in a dense shower onto the figure's head and shoulders, as at a flower offering or puja. A woman on the right, wearing a red-banded bangle on her wrist and a gold head ornament, smiles while holding the basket. Other smiling women with jewellery stand behind her in the dim hall beside a white air conditioning unit.
