A seated figure on an ornate golden throne, its back and sides decorated with garlands of red, orange, yellow, white and purple flowers in rainbow bands. The central figure wears a saffron-orange turban, a saffron-orange robe with a yellow border, a red bindi, multi-strand gold necklaces and a red and yellow garland, and raises one index finger in a teaching gesture while smiling. Brass oil lamps hang above and stand on either side of the throne, with ornamental peacock-shaped finials on the armrests. The backdrop has painted yellow and green panels. Swamiji (probable): the turban, saffron robes, rudraksha-style gold necklaces and throne seat indicate a candidate spiritual leader giving a discourse. Only one physical person is visible.
