Dusk photograph of a large black stone Shiva lingam set on a raised square base, encircled by a colourful garland arch of yellow, red, blue and white flowers. Behind it, a white metal staircase with railings climbs to a raised platform where several robed figures in orange and saffron stand, one in a red-orange robe holding a lit lamp or flame while smoke rises above him. Other saffron-clad devotees stand with hands folded in anjali along the stairs, and a brick building with lit windows forms the backdrop. The scene suggests an evening abhishekam or aarti.
