A dimly lit indoor photograph of an anna daan food distribution in a plain room with a light-coloured wall and a patterned cloth hanging at left. A figure in an orange saffron robe stands at centre-left, bending over while serving. Beside them a person in dark clothing holds a steel pot. Several seated people, mostly in dark and muted clothes, sit on the floor with leaf or steel plates in front of them, receiving food. The image is grainy and low-light, and the seated diners are only partly visible.
