A photograph taken at dusk under a open-sided wooden shelter beside a grassy area and forested hills. A boy in a pink long-sleeved Under Armour shirt stands behind a worn table holding several cooking vessels: a large stainless-steel pressure cooker on the left, a red pot with a black handle in the centre, and a silver pot on the right, all containing food. Stacked white and red plastic chairs sit in the background. A partially visible adult hand reaches toward the left pot. No deity, a person or ritual objects are visible, so the scene shows only food preparation for an annadaan meal.
