A photograph of a long offering spread laid on a striped multicoloured cloth on a bare floor. Plates of fruit, including bananas, a watermelon, oranges and apples, sit beside bowls of sweets, packaged snacks, sugar-coated items, piles of flowers in red, purple and yellow petals, and unpeeled vegetables. Scattered rose petals lie across the floor. A wooden sign reads KAILASA THIRUVANNAMALAI SRI NITHYANANDA JANMABHOOMI KSHETRA. Behind the spread, brass oil lamps with lit wicks stand near a golden lion sculpture, and a large screen shows a figure in red garments and a garland at the top left. Nobody is clearly visible in the foreground.
