A photograph of an indoor puja in a plain room with a pink-washed wall, red curtains and a chalkboard with drawn figures. A woman in a white sari with an orange border stands at centre, holding a microphone and speaking. Around her, about a dozen women sit on the floor in white saris with gold borders, several with long braided hair and flower adornments, while one woman in white kneels at right beside a spread of brass plates, fruit, flowers and a lit oil lamp. Brass lamp stands with lit flames flank a seated figure in a dark maroon cloth draped with garlands, presumably a deity murti or portrait, with a silver peetha before it. Floral offerings and brass thalis are arranged on white cloth on the floor.
