February 18 20112011-02-18 +1 copiesA photograph of an outdoor ashram courtyard where a man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, wearing a long garland of white jasmine and red roses, smiles and holds a folded paper in both hands while devotees greet him. Several men in white shirts and dhotis, one in a teal t-shirt with a tilak, bring offerings on steel plates: a tray of yellow fruit and a plate of orange sweets. Behind them a red-and-white painted pillar and a red banner reading Life Bliss Program and Nithyananda Dhyanapeetham stand in front of a building. A person in orange at the right edge is partially visible.2011-02-15A photograph of an indoor ritual setting in which a long-haired figure in orange-saffron robes and layered gold-bead necklaces places a hand on the head of a devotee. The robed figure holds a folded white paper in one hand and stands beside a wooden box holding fruit and flowers. Around them, several men in white shirts stand with palms pressed together in namaste, some with eyes closed. A bald attendant in white with a white shawl stands behind the blessing figure, and another orange-robed sannyasi is visible at the right edge holding a gold tray. A white screen and blue drape hang in the background, with a yellow lamp shade overhead.2011-02-27August 25 20122012-08-25October 16 20112011-10-16A long-haired figure in a saffron-orange shawl wrapped over the shoulders and multiple gold-beaded rudraksha-style necklaces stands at the centre, extending a folded white paper or prasadam to a row of men in white shirts and white dhotis with hands folded in greeting. Behind him a shaved-headed attendant in a saffron cloth and beaded necklace stands by a tray of fruit, and an older man in white with an orange shawl is visible at right. The setting is an indoor hall with a projection screen and blue drapery. The central figure matches the probable Swamiji appearance cues of swept-back long hair, saffron clothing and ceremonial beads, and is presented as the one giving prasadam to devotees.2011-02-27A photograph of a stage event under a white tent with a red backdrop. A large portrait of a turbaned, smiling man in orange is behind the stage. In the centre, a smiling figure in saffron-orange robes, an orange turban, long swept-back hair and dark rudraksha malas is placing a hand on the shoulder of a man in white dhoti and shirt with a gold-bordered orange shawl. Another man in white stands at left holding a red-and-gold shawl, and a woman in orange draped garments stands at right beside a tray with flower garlands in yellow, white and purple.2010-02-18December 18 20112011-12-18 +1 copiesMarch 04 20112011-03-04A photograph taken under a corrugated metal roof beside an orange-walled hall, with a gilded throne with red cushions and an ornate carved shrine at left. A man in an orange robe with a yellow flower garland and rudraksha beads, with shaved-looking dark hair and a broad smile, stands at the centre; the cues here are an orange robe, garland and beads, and a presentation that is compatible with the page's reference to a person, but the face and appearance are not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so he is described only by role as a sannyasi-garbed devotee. Around him, men in white dhotis with gold chains and tilak stand holding a silver tray of red fruit and offerings, and a man in white with an orange shawl stands at right. Several women in white saris with yellow borders stand in the background, and a loudspeaker is mounted on the roof. A small blue sign reads text in the upper background, and a logo overlay appears in the corner.2010-08-19August 05 20102010-08-05June 03 20132013-06-03
