March 05 20112011-03-05A person in an orange robe with an orange shawl stands on a black stone tiled platform, hands pressed together in namaste at the chest, facing a large banyan tree. Its thick aerial roots and spreading limbs hang over white-washed raised stone platforms and a bare earth ground. The scene appears to be an outdoor devotional spot at a sacred tree.2010-01-04 +1 copiesJanuary 31 20112011-01-31March 05 20112011-03-05 +1 copiesSeptember 02 20112011-09-02September 10 20112011-09-10March 05 20112011-03-05September 01 20142014-09-01February 08 20112011-02-08A large old banyan tree with thick grey trunks and many hanging aerial roots dominates the frame, draped with a garland of yellow, white and red flowers. At the right edge, a person in an orange robe with a long dark braid and a white cloth at the head stands with hands pressed together in namaskar, bowing toward the tree. Bright green foliage and sunlit branches fill the background. Only part of the figure is visible.2006-12-26January 23 20112011-01-23December 31 20092009-12-31
