A night procession on a dark road lit by a bright spotlight from the upper left. A large crowd, roughly several dozen people, walks together; many wear orange or saffron and red clothing, and some wear white dhotis. Several umbrellas, one orange and ornate, are held aloft above the group, and a drum is carried on the right. The strong beam creates long shadows across the ground. The figures are mostly silhouetted, and no individual can be identified as a specific presenter.2016-09-15September 15 20162016-09-15November 16 20152015-11-16May 26 20172017-05-26September 15 20162016-09-15April 29 20152015-04-29September 15 20162016-09-15September 28 20172017-09-28April 29 20152015-04-29October 10 20112011-10-10November 27 20062006-11-27A night-time procession on a dark dirt path through trees. A group of about a dozen people, mostly men in white dhotis and some in saffron or red cloths, moves forward. A bright handheld lamp and a flaming torch light the scene, and a figure carries a decorated object on the shoulders at the centre. Several people hold lights or stand near a small illuminated sign at the right. The photo is copyright-watermarked in the lower right corner.2016-09-15
