A smiling man with swept-back dark hair, a white forehead mark and a saffron-red shawl sits on a decorated palanquin or ratha beneath a canopy of green and red fabric with yellow tassels. He wears layered garlands of red and white flowers, a gold chain and a gold pendant. Behind him, a yellow-and-white flower garland drapes the seat.
