The man in front centre wears a rudraksha mala and a long gold-bordered orange-red dhoti and shawl, with a red headband and a tilak on his forehead, and his hair is swept back. Beside him a shaved-headed man in orange holds a small orange cloth and wears rudraksha beads. Behind them devotees in white dhotis and light shirts follow, and a man in glasses and a light shirt stands at the right edge. The front figure has long swept-back hair, a headband, saffron/orange ceremonial clothing and rudraksha malas, cues consistent with a swami, though his identity is uncertain from appearance.2012-05-31A man with long swept-back dark hair and a red bindi walks barefoot across a wooden platform, wearing a rust-orange draped garment with gold border and an orange-red beaded necklace with large gold beads. Gold bangles are on his arms. Two attendants flank the scene: a shaved-headed priest on the left in orange-red robes with white forehead markings, and a young boy on the right in orange robes carrying a brass tray with a kalasha, pink flowers and green leaves. Drummers with large drums stand behind in orange and maroon, and a vehicle is parked outside an open pavilion.2013-05-19November 16 20152015-11-16Outdoor street procession on a paved walkway beside a tree-lined road. A man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with a gold-edged border and a gold floral crown walks at centre, wearing a long rudraksha mala and a gold pendant, with a red forehead mark. Behind him a man holds a yellow umbrella over the group. Other men in white dhotis with gold borders and rudraksha malas walk alongside, one in orange holding white flowers. A woman in a white sari with a red-green border carries a gold kalasha, and devotees follow in the background. The scene reads as a ritual procession, and a lattice tower stands at left.2012-05-08 +1 copiesNovember 16 20152015-11-16May 31 20122012-05-31November 16 20152015-11-16 +1 copiesOutdoor procession of saffron-robed devotees under bright daylight. A man in the centre wears a brown-and-gold dhoti-style garment, a long rudraksha mala, a heavy gold multi-strand necklace and a red bindi, with long swept-back hair; he is smiling and is an appearance-based a person candidate. Around him, shaven-headed men in orange and saffron cloth carry rudraksha malas; two on the left hold long poles topped with orange-and-red fringed ceremonial umbrellas bearing a bird emblem, and a man on the right holds a silver vessel on a tray decorated with a coconut or fruit, marigolds and leaves. Brick walls and a few onlookers are visible behind.2013-04-14
