Foreground: an elderly bald man on the left in orange cloth with white flower garland and gold bangle; a younger man in the centre wearing an orange dhoti, white and green flower garland, rudraksha mala and a headband, gesturing with his arm; a bearded man on the right in red silk with pink flower garland and tilak, holding a small green-wrapped item at his chest; a uniformed police officer in khaki walking alongside. Several men in white shirts and dark trousers stand behind, some with palms pressed together.2012-05-24November 11 20132013-11-11November 11 20132013-11-11April 27 20122012-04-27A photograph of a row of shaved-headed men in saffron-orange robes standing outdoors before a peach-coloured building with arched doorways. Most wear rudraksha malas and stand with hands folded or clasped, looking forward. One man at centre wears round glasses and a small red tilak on his forehead, and another at right wears a red-orange shawl over one shoulder. Several have white ash markings on their arms and shoulders. Behind them stand women in dark maroon saris with mala necklaces, and at the top right a vehicle decorated with a red and white floral garland is visible. Several men wear orange robes with maroon borders, and a bare-chested man holds a white paper. The setting appears to be an ashram courtyard during a gathering.2013-11-15March 03 20142014-03-03March 03 20142014-03-03
