In the foreground, a hand raised holding a tall multi-tiered brass lamp with many lit oil lamps and a flame, with a bangle on the wrist. Behind it, a large framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" shows a smiling figure in orange robes and an orange turban with a red tilak. A large printed backdrop of the same smiling figure stands at left, and gilded lion sculptures flank the stage with a lit candle at right. Only partially visible people appear at the bottom edge. The portrait shows a smiling man in an orange turban and orange shawl with a red bindi. In front of it, a silver multi-tiered oil lamp with many lit wicks is being held up, and a person in white clothing at lower right lifts a small lamp. A tiger-skin cloth lies on the altar, and a backdrop of Balinese-style carved gold panels and temple imagery surrounds the shrine. Two people are partly visible at the bottom, one holding the tall lamp and one with a bare shaved head.
