January 09 20122012-01-09A photo of a satsang-style exchange. On the left, a man with long hair tied in a bun, wearing a tiger-striped saffron-and-black garment and a long rudraksha mala, extends his right arm and hand toward a man's forehead; he has a yellow mark on his forehead. On the right, a man in a white kurta with a blue lanyard and an ID badge raises both hands toward the first man. Behind them, a woman in white and a figure in red sit before a textured, cream-coloured wall. The left man has distinctive long hair, rudraksha beads and saffron-patterned clothing, so this is a person in person giving a blessing, but appearance alone is not conclusive.2012-01-09A photograph of a seated man in a saffron-orange garment with a gold-toned necklace and a long swept-back hair bun reaches forward to touch the forehead of a young man in white kurta and pants, who stands with eyes closed and palms raised. Behind them a woman in white with a rudraksha mala sits, and a gold ornament is visible in the lower left. The backdrop is a shimmering gold-and-cream draped fabric. The seated man has distinctive long hair and saffron clothing, a probable Swamiji candidate in an ongoing blessing gesture.2014-01-12January 20 20142014-01-20December 24 20122012-12-24December 18 20132013-12-18August 02 20142014-08-02December 20 20132013-12-20May 25 20132013-05-25A photograph of a satsang moment in which a seated figure in an orange-brown shawl, with long hair pulled back, a rudraksha mala and gold bangles, extends his right arm to touch the forehead of a young man in a white t-shirt who raises both hands in front of his face. Beside them a man in white dhoti and white shawl with a red-and-gold trim wears a white forehead mark and rudraksha beads, watching. Behind them, several standing people in white and red shawls observe, and a red cloth-draped backdrop and red-upholstered seat frame the scene.2013-07-17July 10 20132013-07-10A seated man in a rust-orange robe with a rudraksha mala around his neck extends his right arm to touch the forehead of a man in white kurta, whose palms are raised in reverence. The seated figure has a white vibhuti mark and hair tied back in a bun, and is shirtless beneath the orange wrap. Behind them a woman in white with a dark rudraksha mala and white forehead mark sits watching, with another woman in white on the right and devotees in white in the background, plus green foliage and a fan. The setting appears to be a satsang or blessing ritual. The orange-robed figure shows no distinctive a person cues strong enough to qualify, so his identity is uncertain.2015-02-19 +1 copies
