Hanging from the bracket is a bundle wrapped in orange saffron cloth, tied with a white flower garland and a rope, with long dried grass stalks tucked in beside it. The background is a dark navy night sky. No people are visible. The bundle appears to be a ceremonial offering or ritual object suspended on the pole.2013-07-22January 03 20082008-01-03February 06 20142014-02-06December 18 20132013-12-18January 01 20142014-01-01November 12 20102010-11-12A photograph looking up at a tall polished copper dhwajastambha flagpole against a clear blue evening sky. At its top is a carved dark wooden platform with a small figure wrapped in orange cloth and garlanded with white and red flowers, hanging from ropes during a dwajarohanam flag-raising. A white cloth banner trails down beside the pole, and a dark building edge with a lamp runs along the left side. No people are clearly visible.2013-12-18
