At centre, a smiling figure with long dark hair, a red-and-orange robe, a tilak on the forehead and a large garland of white and multicoloured flowers waves to the crowd. Around them, men in white shirts and dhotis wear red and orange shawls and rudraksha-style beads; a shaved-head man in white stands behind. A woman in red-orange sari holds a brass kalasha-like pot with flowers and offerings. Several onlookers press hands together in namaste on the right. Visible people: about 20-30 in the frame, many partially visible.2013-06-23 +2 copiesJuly 03 20142014-07-03A crowd walks along a temple courtyard in daylight. At centre, a figure with long dark swept-back hair wears a bright orange-saffron garment and a thick gold-and-beaded necklace of ceremonial garlands, appearing to be the subject of the procession. Beside them, a shaved-headed attendant in an orange cloth and beaded garland walks close. Around them men in white dhotis and shirts, one with a cloth draped over the shoulder, push through. A man in a brown checked shirt with an ID badge stands at left, and a man in white shirt at right gestures. Behind, a red-and-white canopy, banana leaves and temple buildings are visible. Swamiji (probable) appears in person; the central figure has long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and gold garlands.2011-12-20Photo 11687450June 23 20142014-06-23 +2 copiesJune 23 20142014-06-23 +2 copiesOutdoor procession on a dusty road with several people walking together. In the centre, a man in a rust-red dhoti and shawl wears a long gold-bead necklace, a brown beaded mala and a white-and-yellow flower garland, with a red tilak on his forehead. Beside him, a bald man in saffron-orange robes wears a red-and-white flower garland with yellow blooms. Behind them, bald men in orange and white clothing hold a tall ceremonial staff and a yellow-and-gold parasol-style canopy. A man on the right in white dhoti and shawl wears a dark beaded mala and gold-trimmed cloth. Onlookers in white shirts and dhotis surround the group. The centre figure has the appearance of a person by his prominent gold necklace, red-and-gold clothing and garland, though this is an appearance-based label only.2013-11-11
