Behind them, more garlands in white, purple and red hang on a golden stand, and a golden lotus-style pedestal is visible at right. A second person in orange stands partly visible at the left edge. The setting appears to be a temple-style hall with stone pillars, consistent with a garlanding or decoration ritual.2016-01-03 +1 copiesJanuary 03 20162016-01-03June 10 20132013-06-10 +1 copiesA person with long dark hair worn in a loose knot, wearing a rust-orange unstitched robe and a thick multi-strand red and white flower garland, stands at left in profile, holding a small white plate or tray toward a deity murti. The murti is a standing bronze-coloured figure in orange-gold dhoti and shawl, adorned with gold necklaces and a crown, set inside a tall arch of densely layered marigolds and white jasmine in yellow, red, purple and green. Offerings in front include a kalasha-like vessel with flowers, a small lamp, and gold-bordered decorations, consistent with puja or abhishekam. Another person in orange stands partly visible at the far left edge.2013-05-25A woman in an orange sari with a wide yellow border leans over a richly decorated deity murti, adorning or touching it with her hands. The murti is covered in multicoloured garlands of red, yellow, purple and white flowers, with gold jewellery and a golden crown-like headdress. At the left edge a man with a shaved head, white tilak on his forehead and an orange-and-yellow cloth stands nearby. Golden ornaments and a golden figure are visible at upper right. The scene suggests a temple alankaram or puja setting.2015-01-04Outdoor ritual before a large black stone form draped with heavy garlands of orange marigolds, white, yellow and purple flowers in vertical bands.
