Central is a framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" showing a seated man in orange robes with a white flower garland, one hand raised, garlanded with yellow marigolds, resting on a white draped table. Before it are brass oil lamp, bell, kalasha-style cups, a banana leaf with coconut and offerings on a striped mat. Around it stand devotees: a woman in white with orange shawl and gold border kneeling at right, placing an item on the mat; a man in orange shawl and rudraksha mala beside her; several men in white dhotis and orange wraps at left and rear.2008-01-16February 06 20142014-02-06February 06 20142014-02-06February 06 20142014-02-06November 17 20132013-11-17Night outdoor ritual under a large banyan tree with aerial roots. At centre, a standing devotee in rust-red robes holds a large printed photograph of a bearded man wearing an orange turban, the printed image garlanded with a red, yellow and white flower necklace. Around him, several women and men in rust-red and orange robes stand with folded hands or hold ritual items: a woman at right holds a lit oil lamp on a brass plate, another holds a tray of pink flower petals, and a figure at left stands with palms pressed together. A man in white dhoti and shawl stands behind, partly holding a camera. Stone paving and a low bench surround them under dim lamplight.2019-07-16November 17 20132013-11-17
