Outdoor scene beneath a large banyan tree with dense aerial roots. Four men in ochre and saffron robes stand on a black stone platform near a circular stone base. Two men on the left wear rust-brown dhotis with gold borders and vibhuti marks on their foreheads; one holds a small silver bowl. A central figure in a bright orange shawl, seen from behind with head covered, bows or prostrates toward the tree. A man on the right wears a rust-brown dhoti with gold border and ceremonial thread. Two red-and-cream patterned mats lie on the stone floor in front of them. This appears to be a devotional ritual at the banyan tree, with no clearly visible face identifiable as a person.

Night-time photo at an outdoor shrine beneath large banyan trees with aerial roots and a hanging rope. In the foreground, a figure with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange dhoti and a matching orange shawl draped over one shoulder, with a red sash at the waist and a multi-strand beaded necklace, standing barefoot on a dark tiled platform with palms joined in anjali. Behind him, a second man with a shaved head in an orange cloth and beaded necklace holds a ritual vessel. Stone platforms surround the tree trunks. Two people are physically visible.

Outdoor photo at dusk beneath a large banyan tree with sprawling aerial roots. Several men in saffron-orange robes stand on a dirt path beside a low stone-edged pool, some with hands folded in namaskar. Two young men in white dhotis and yellow shawls stand at left beside a floral garland hanging from a pole, and a man in white shirt and dark trousers stands nearby. Behind the group, a bright sun glows through the foliage. A bearded man in orange at centre faces the group, and a bare-headed figure in orange at the right foreground stands with back to the camera.

Night photograph at an outdoor sacred site beneath a large banyan tree with exposed aerial roots. Two people stand with palms pressed together in namaskar on a sandy ground. The nearer figure wears a deep red-maroon sari with a gold-striped border, a garland of red and white flowers, and a dark patterned shawl over the shoulders. A second person in a red and gold-bordered sari stands behind to the left. A white cloth and a wooden plank lie on the ground near the feet, with a stone block nearby. Lamplight from a bright light source illuminates the scene, and a stone platform with rubble lies in the background.

Night scene at an outdoor sacred tree with a large banyan-type trunk and spreading aerial roots at left. A white-painted raised platform encircles the base, decorated with white rangoli-style designs on the ground. A woman in orange clothing with an orange head wrap and a dark rudraksha mala stands with hands folded in prayer. Beside her, a man in white shirt and dark trousers looks upward, and several men in orange robes, one with a reddish shawl, stand nearby. Metal poles and a light are visible in the dark background.

A photograph taken outdoors beneath a large banyan tree with many aerial roots and spreading branches. In the centre, a group of men in saffron/orange robes and orange shawls walk along a path near a tall grey pillar and a low stone platform with offerings and a small fire. In the foreground on the right, a man in white dhoti and an orange shawl faces away from the camera toward the group. Other people in white dhotis and orange garments stand along the left side. A white-painted low wall lines the path, and a cameraman with equipment is visible at right. Ritual activity appears to be taking place around a sacred fire site.
