February 06 20142014-02-06A photograph of a temple shrine with a golden arched frame and a green draped backdrop. Two large gilded deity murtis stand together: the left figure wears a red turban, gold necklaces and holds a trident-like staff, while the right figure wears a dark crown and an orange-and-yellow dhoti-style drape. Both are garlanded with pink and white flower strands. In front sits a smaller white shivalinga-like form wrapped with an orange cloth and rudraksha-style beads, with a purple-clothed attendant figure seated before it. Brass oil lamps stand on either side, and a purple-robed standing figure with a gold necklace appears at the right. The scene shows no living people; all figures are statues or murtis.2012-04-17 +1 copiesA photograph of a gilded temple shrine with a red curtain backdrop and ornate gold arch.
