A large polished silver kalasha-style vessel with engraved floral patterns is topped with a bundle of green mango leaves and red flowers, wrapped in a garland of white jasmine. A small silver tray at its base holds red, pink and white flowers. To the left, a woven basket holds red, pink and yellow flower garlands. A hand with a tattooed wrist and a mobile phone rests at the right edge. Behind the table, green shrubs and a stone-edged garden border are visible.2012-03-30April 27 20122012-04-27A photograph of a kalasha, a ceremonial brass pot wrapped in an orange cloth turban with mango leaves inserted in its mouth, set on a white-draped table outdoors. The pot is draped with a red and gold brocade cloth and a long garland of yellow and white flowers hangs around it. No people are visible.2009-12-26April 27 20122012-04-27A photograph of a kalasha ritual pot topped with a whole coconut with a red kumkum mark and fresh mango leaves. The silver-coloured vessel is wrapped in a red silk cloth with gold zari floral borders and sits on a silver tray of rice. The background is a sandy ground with green grass at the top edge. No people are visible, only a fragment of a hand at the far left.2009-09-29December 20 20132013-12-20A brass kalasha pot, wrapped in a green and red striped cloth and draped with a silver jewelled necklace with blue stones, is topped with a brown coconut and a bright pink flower garland. Green leaves and magenta and purple flowers surround it, and it rests on scattered rice grains over a red cloth. Bamboo or palm strips frame the pot. Another decorated brass kalasha with pink flowers appears behind it. No people are visible; the arrangement appears to be a ritual vessel prepared for worship.2013-12-20April 27 20122012-04-27
