A temple shrine niche with two painted guardian figures flanking a central golden throne-like seat. Each figure has multiple arms, a crown, gold necklaces and orange-red dhoti with green sashes, holding ritual objects. On the golden seat sits a framed portrait of a smiling man in an orange turban and saffron robe, with a tiger motif below. Three people kneel in front: one in a white ritual garment with gold border at centre, and two in orange and maroon robes beside. Oil lamps and hanging lamps decorate the niche, with a red floor covering in the foreground. The scene is a padapuja-style offering before the portrait, which is a printed portrait rather than a person.2014-02-05Photograph inside a temple shrine.
