A photograph inside a gilded interior with a black wall, brass hanging bells and an air conditioner. A man with a shaved-looking head and a red tilak sits on an ornate gold throne draped with a tiger-striped cloth, wearing a long red garland, gold necklaces, a saffron-orange dhoti-style cloth with a yellow border, and gold armlets. He is smiling. Before him on the floor, a woman in a light green sari and a woman in a white top sit near silver trays of flowers, red blossoms, fruit and offerings, while a woman in a white-striped forehead mark and red-and-maroon garment kneels nearby. Another man in a white shirt stands behind the throne and a person's head is visible at the bottom edge. Ritual puja offerings are arranged in front of the throne.2013-09-09A photograph of a seated man on an ornate golden throne, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, a red and white flower garland, gold necklace and gold bangles, with his bare feet resting on the throne's gold base. Before him on a gold tray are brass plates of offerings, flower petals, and small oil lamps. A kneeling man in white clothes with a red sash and rudraksha mala and a kneeling woman in orange sari with flowers in her hair attend the offering. Behind them, a shaven-headed attendant in orange and maroon robes with a rudraksha mala kneels. Two framed portraits hang on a dark wall: one of a smiling man in an orange turban, the other of a man in orange robes seated in meditation, with a wall air conditioner above. Brass bells and a hanging lamp are visible at upper right. The setting resembles a padapuja ritual. Swamiji appears as a probable candidate on the throne, identifiable by long hair, a gold necklace, saffron clothing and a garland.2013-07-19September 02 20132013-09-02July 19 20132013-07-19July 19 20132013-07-19A seated man in saffron-orange and gold-bordered robes with a long rudraksha mala and a gold necklace sits on an ornate gold throne carved with a lion head and draped with a tiger-striped cloth, beside brass hanging bells and oil lamps. Seated on the right, a man in white shirt presses his palms together in greeting, a woman in white with a white forehead band holds her hands in añjali, and a man with a white forehead mark sits near brass plates of flowers, fruit and lamps. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, ornate gold throne, saffron-orange robes, rudraksha mala and gold necklace; the seated man is presented as the central figure. Setting is a dark-walled hall with an air conditioner on the wall. In front, several people sit around silver plates of flowers, red hibiscus and offerings, including a woman in white with a grey braid, a woman in red with a vibhuti forehead mark and mala, a man in a white shirt, and a woman in a saffron sari. Hanging brass oil lamps and bells hang above the throne. The page indicates this event involves Swamiji; the throne-seated figure shows a rudraksha mala, saffron robe, and swept-back hair, so the appearance-based label is Swamiji (probable), seated in person.2013-09-08 +1 copiesSeptember 09 20132013-09-09A man with long dark hair sits on an ornate gold throne with a lion-head armrest, draped in a tiger-striped cloth, wearing a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with gold trim and a long red-and-white flower garland.
