Two small gold cups with rounded lids stand among the petals, and a gold plate with embossed decoration sits at left. At the top left, a bare hand with reddish fingernails rests at the edge of the tray. No people's faces are visible. The shallow focus blurs the gold border and background lights.2011-12-26A photograph of a seated man in long, swept-back dark hair and saffron-orange robes touching the hand of a golden deity murti. The murti has four arms, a tall crown with a red stone, layered white beaded necklaces, a red blouse and a red-and-black sari with a gold waist belt. Behind the murti, a man in white ritual clothes sits against dark curtains and a gilded frame.2006-08-20December 12 20162016-12-12 +1 copiesClose-up of a puja tray on an orange cloth. A hand holds a small gold-coloured ornamental figure above a round silver platter filled with red and pink rose petals. Beneath the petals sits a flat brass base with two small brass knobs. Around it are brass and silver vessels, including a silver cup holding a silver-coloured foil cutout, and a brass bowl. The scene suggests a paduka puja setting, with petal offerings and metal ritual objects. One visible hand is the only person.2013-09-21Close photo of a small golden metal deity murti standing in a red woven basket, adorned with a crown, a yellow flower on top, a red and gold shawl, red beaded malas and a gold necklace. White plumeria flowers and a green bead bracelet surround it on a pink cloth, with a patterned fabric in the background. No people are visible.2012-10-19Photo 11728669 +2 copiesA photograph of an abhishekam in progress on metal deity murti. Two hands in the upper left pour liquid from a white conch-shaped vessel onto the head of a golden-bronze deity with a tall ornate crown and a rudraksha-style garland. Liquid streams down the face of the foreground figure, which has painted black eyebrows and eyes and a red mouth. Beside it stands a second, polished silver-toned deity wearing an orange-red cloth and a crown. A woman's wrist with red thread and silver bangles is visible at the left edge. No people's faces are shown, and no one is in the scene apart from the partially visible arm and hands.2011-09-19September 22 20132013-09-22October 08 20132013-10-08Close photograph of a gilded metal deity murti being bathed with a stream of water during abhishekam. The figure wears a tall conical crown, large earrings, layered necklaces and a pendant, and holds a small object in one raised hand. Behind it, a second gilded hand holds a flame-like implement, and blurred orange garments and red and green garlands fill the background. No physical people are clearly visible; the scene shows only the statue and water.2012-01-08
