Three standing figures in the foreground dominate: a central blue-skinned male deity with a bow and a garland, flanked by two female figures in red and white saris with gold haloes, all on green bases. Behind them, many more colourful figurines of green-, pink- and purple-skinned deities and devotees are arranged in rows and blur softly into the background. A small silver bowl sits to the right and a seated golden figure is at left. No physical people are visible; the figures are statues only.2016-10-08A photograph of a Navaratri golu display of painted clay dolls arranged on a white cloth and a gold-and-maroon brocade runner. In the centre, a bright-orange-and-gold deity figure with a tall crown and a garland of pink flowers holds a conch and a mace-like staff, flanked by a green-faced figure in a red garment with a crown and a pink garland. Other dolls include a seated musician playing a veena at left, a seated figure in blue playing a stringed instrument at right, a standing male figure in a white dhoti, and small children figures. Ornate painted figures and a peacock appear in the background. Printed text is visible in the lower right corner.2016-10-08September 09 20112011-09-09October 02 20112011-10-02October 02 20112011-10-02October 08 20162016-10-08
