The murti sits on a golden peetha or throne, heavily garlanded with red roses, white flowers and green leaves, wearing an orange silk dhoti, a jewelled crown and a pink cloth draped behind. A lotus flower rests at its lap. At left, a second man in orange robes and rudraksha beads watches, holding a small brass vessel. Orange-painted walls and a carved stone pillar form the backdrop. The priest's distinctive presentation is consistent with the page's reference to a person, but the face and identity are uncertain.2012-04-30
