A seated man smiles while speaking into a headset microphone on an ornate gilded throne with a tall arched back carved in floral and scrollwork patterns. He wears a rust-red unstitched robe with a gold border draped over one shoulder, a thick beaded rudraksha-style mala, beaded armbands and bracelets, and a red bindi with white vertical tilak marks on his forehead. He sits on a red velvet cushion over a tiger-striped cloth. Behind him is a painted backdrop with a figure holding a flame.
