May 16 20132013-05-16December 11 20112011-12-11A photograph inside an ornate golden-and-pastel temple hall. A central seated figure sits on a large gilded throne in a dark red-brown robe with a pale floral garland draped over the shoulders; a crown-like headpiece is visible above him. Two tall painted dvarapala-style guardian statues with four arms and crowns flank the throne, and a golden bull figure sits at the base. In front, three people are seated on a cloth mat: a woman in orange robes with white stripes on her arms and long braided hair, a younger woman in orange, and a bare-chested man in white dhoti facing the throne with his hands folded. Oil lamps and a small brass plate stand on the floor at left. The polished reflective floor and gilded pillars complete the scene.2017-09-03A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne in front of a painted blue shrine backdrop flanked by two large painted guardian statues holding tridents and weapons. The seated figure wears a red-orange robe and rudraksha mala. Several people sit on the white floor below in front of the throne: a woman in a red blouse and white skirt kneels with a small offering near the front, another attendant in orange sits beside her, and on the right a row of seated devotees in white and grey clothing, one woman in orange, sit with hands folded. Brass oil lamps stand on either side. Lights hang in the dark doorway behind the throne.2013-04-09A temple hall with a golden throne (peetha) at centre, flanked by two painted dvarapala-style guardian figures holding staffs. On the throne stands a framed portrait of a seated figure in orange robes, with a golden canopy above. In the foreground, a priest in orange cloth and white sacred ash marks on his arm, seen from behind, holds a lit multi-wick oil lamp (aarti) toward the shrine. To the right, four people in orange and saffron clothes sit cross-legged on carpets, a bare-chested or lightly clad figure among them, with brass oil lamps (lamps) placed along the sides. Scene suggests a puja or sarva darshan in a temple setting.2013-05-30A photograph of a satsang or puja in a temple-style hall with a painted stage backdrop. Two tall painted deity figures with multiple arms and crowns stand on either side of a golden throne-like seat, on which a figure in a dark red-brown robe and a red headwrap sits with hands raised. Several devotees in saffron and orange clothing kneel on a stage in prayer, some with folded hands. A man in white dhoti and shirt with a garland sits at the right front, and a kneeling monk in saffron robes with a bald head is seen from behind at the left. Brass oil lamps and offering plates line the stage.2013-08-02A photograph of a ceremonial hall with a central ornate gold throne (peetha) set within a doorway framed by colourful pillars. A seated figure in orange-saffron robes wears a red and white flower garland and a rudraksha-style necklace; the figure's appearance is consistent with the presentation of the candidate, so this is a person seated in darshan. Flanking the doorway are two large painted deity murti figures with multiple arms, gold jewellery, and red and green dhoti-style garments. Below, seated devotees in orange saris and white attire sit on mats; two women in orange clothing on the left perform puja with a tray of offerings, and oil lamps stand on brass stands. A large gold canopy hangs above the throne with bells suspended beside it.2013-06-17A seated man in an orange-red robe with a red-and-white beaded rudraksha mala sits on an ornate golden throne with a tiger-skin cushion in a temple shrine. Two large painted guardian figures with multiple arms and tridents flank the shrine on blue and pink walls. Devotees in white and orange sit on the floor before the throne, including a shaved-headed man in white dhoti and a younger man in white clothes with orange sashes, while a woman in white sits near a potted palm and brass lamps stand on the polished floor. The image shows a satsang and darshan setting.2013-03-17December 11 20112011-12-11May 12 20172017-05-12March 13 20132013-03-13August 02 20172017-08-02
