Outdoors on a sandy courtyard, a young boy in saffron-orange dhoti and white shoulder cloth carries a large red-and-natural-skin barrel drum slung at his side and plays it with a stick. Beside him, a boy with a white headband and rudraksha mala beads in orange clothing walks behind, and two boys in maroon dhotis with yellow borders move in the background. A red pillar, white-and-red steps, and green plants frame the scene, with a yellow plastic bag on the ground.

Five young male ascetic drummers in saffron-orange dhoti and shawls with red borders stand outdoors on a dirt ground in front of a low white wall with red pillars and green trees. Each wears rudraksha malas and white and red forehead markings. Several play barrel-shaped drums slung from white straps, one drummer strikes a small hand cymbal, and the man at right stands with his hands folded near his mouth. Dry leaves lie on the ground and a stone pile sits behind the wall.

Two young boys walk barefoot along a stone-paved path in a procession, each playing a round drum slung at the waist with pink sticks. The boy on the left wears an orange dhoti and a sacred white marking on his forehead, with a pendant necklace; the boy on the right wears a gold-green dhoti and a rudraksha mala. Behind them, people in orange and white clothing carry umbrellas in yellow and orange, and a red boundary wall lines the path under hazy morning light.

A row of drummers performs outdoors at night beneath hanging decorations and lights. Six young men and boys play round frame drums with pink sticks. Most wear orange dhoti-style cloths with gold borders, bare chests, rudraksha malas and white ash markings on their faces and torsos. One drummer in the centre wears a white dhoti with a gold border. Behind them, another person in white and orange clothing stands near a pillar, with greenery and red and orange festive banners in the background.

A photograph of young boys in orange robes sitting on a white tiled floor, playing traditional drums. In the foreground a boy with a shaved head, white forehead markings and a beaded necklace plays a large wooden barrel drum with a skin head and rope-lashed frame. Behind him another boy in orange clothing with a red-trimmed waistcloth plays a small hand drum, and red floor cushions are stacked in the background. The scene suggests ashram ritual music or devotional drumming.

Outdoor street procession with drummers in orange dhotis and gold-bordered cloths. In the foreground a young bare-chested drummer with long dreadlocked hair, a white cord across his chest, plays a large white-faced drum held at his side with a stick. Behind him other drummers in orange garments play similar drums, and a crowd and a bystander stand along the roadside under trees. The scene reads as a temple or devotional procession with drumming.
