In the centre, an elderly bald priest in orange-saffron cloth with a garland of white flowers and orange blossoms and a beaded headband offers a small green leaf-plate to a younger man with an ornate gold chain and garland. Around them, shaved-headed men in orange or white cloth and sandalwood-marked foreheads stand close, including a man in white shirt and dhoti wearing a rudraksha mala. In the foreground a bare-chested man with a shaved head and a black-haired bun wears orange-saffron cloth, a long gold-bead necklace, a rudraksha mala and a white floral garland. He leans forward with cupped hands holding a small silver ritual object while a woman with a dark bun in the lower right receives it. Behind him an older man in orange-red cloth wears a brown rudraksha mala, a red and yellow flower garland, and white vibhuti on his forehead, with hands raised near the scene. Onlookers in white and orange saffron shawls press around them, some with palms joined. The setting appears to be an ashram darshan or puja.2012-06-04April 23 20132013-04-23 +2 copiesJune 05 20122012-06-05A photograph inside a temple hall with a yellow ornate pillar behind. A bald, bare-chested man with white ash on his forehead and chest, wearing a rudraksha mala with beads and a gold-toned ornament, holds a leaf and touches his forehead with one hand. Beside him, a younger man in a red-orange cloth with a red-and-white beaded headband and multiple beaded necklaces gestures with his hand. Another man in orange garments stands at right, and a bearded man at left. In the foreground are a halved coconut, banana, betel leaves and a purple flower on a tray.2012-05-21June 09 20172017-06-09October 23 20102010-10-23 +1 copiesA photograph inside a hall with people and a blurred crowd behind. A man in orange cloth, bare-chested with a draped orange wrap, a white horizontal forehead band with a red dot, and red-and-white garlands and rudraksha malas, presses his right palm onto the head of a man in a white shirt with dark-rimmed glasses, who bows forward. A bystander in a white shirt with a rudraksha mala watches at left, and a man with a red tilak stands nearby. Multiple bracelets and a sprig of green leaves are visible. The orange-clad figure has a shaved-free, swept dark hairstyle and his features are not clearly distinct enough to confirm identity, so the a person candidate is uncertain.2012-10-09February 17 20132013-02-17
