A central man with a shaved head, wire-rimmed glasses, rudraksha mala and a reddish-brown dhoti and shawl performs an aarti with a lamp and a bell-like implement in front of a decorated deity murti. The murti is draped with white and yellow flower garlands and wears gold ornaments, set in a gilded arched shrine with a pink sequined base. Two attendants in orange-saffron turbans and robes sit nearby; the one at left has his hands folded in prayer. Brass vessels, green leaves and a small offering stand on the yellow platform in front. Behind them, ornate flower-covered thrones are visible.2015-04-30May 27 20132013-05-27Indoor temple-style ritual scene in a bright hall. A man in a rust-red saffron-toned dhoti and shawl with a white flower garland and red-and-green bead tassel stands barefoot at left, holding a lit oil lamp flame above a brass bell-like vessel while a younger attendant in orange dhoti, shawl and beaded necklace holds a brass tray. Behind them is a gold-framed throne with a tiger-skin cloth draped over its red seat, and a tall brass lamp stand. At right, a deity murti is dressed in pink-and-gold silk with a crown and heavy floral garlands, and a gold-framed altar is decorated with yellow, white and red marigold garlands. Flower-filled brass plates sit on the floor.2017-06-10A ceremonial homa or fire ritual in a hall with maroon drapes and a gilded throne behind. A long-haired man in a rust-orange dhoti and a red-and-gold rudraksha mala with a ceremonial gold necklace stands at the centre, holding a small bundle of white flowers and looking down at the fire. The presentation of this central figure (long swept hair, rudraksha and gold adornments, orange ritual dress) matches the a person cues, shown as a person officiating. A shaved-headed priest kneels at right holding a lamp of flame, another man in orange holds a silver bowl at left, and a priest in maroon with white tripundra marks stands at far right. Large garlands of marigolds and roses fill the foreground, with a visible fire pit in front of the central figure.2013-05-19June 10 20172017-06-10September 13 20142014-09-13May 26 20132013-05-26 +1 copiesA seated man in a rust-orange robe with a gold-and-beaded necklace and a gold-bordered orange wrap sits on a gold-trimmed red throne with a red cushion.
