The garland is made of yellow marigolds, red roses and pink flowers, with green pendant ornaments hanging from it. Behind him, a figure in a maroon turban holds a golden face-shaped object, and to the left a priest with bare chest and a rudraksha mala stands beside a metal tray of white flowers. A gold-coloured backdrop with a golden hood-like ornament surrounds the deity. The man appears to be performing a puja or padapuja. The sole visible candidate is an appearance-based match only loosely supported by the turban and dreadlocks, so identity is uncertain.2016-12-14December 26 20152015-12-26A figure in an orange saffron wrap, bare-shouldered, with hair in a bun and a rudraksha-style beaded necklace, reaches up to adorn a richly decorated deity murti seated before an ornate gold arch. The murti has a golden face, a decorated crown with white flowers, jewelled necklaces and a green and gold garment. Garlands of red, white, yellow and purple flowers surround the image, a pink lotus is held in one golden hand, and an orange drape hangs behind. The murti is a Shiva-form figure with a golden hooded cobra canopy and a decorated headdress, wrapped in a thick garland of yellow marigolds, purple flowers and red roses with green leaves. A large golden lion or makara-style ornament and a dark blue curtain are behind. The man appears to be a person by appearance, showing long swept hair, saffron clothing and a bead necklace, though this is uncertain.2010-10-10A seated man in an orange-saffron robe receives a pink and white flower garland on the silver-and-gold ornate throne, framed by red and multicoloured marigold garlands. He lowers his head and lifts the garland with both hands. A priest in an orange-red head cloth and white body markings kneels at left, holding a brass plate of yellow flowers and presenting pink petals. A microphone stands at right. a person: the seated man wears an orange-saffron robe and sits on the throne in a ceremonial setting, though his face and presentation are not distinctive enough to confirm the identity. The scene suggests a puja-style honouring ceremony.2018-05-24A central deity murti stands between two consort figures in a golden shrine niche, decorated with long garlands of yellow, red, purple and white flowers. The central figure wears a tall golden crown, a gold-trimmed garment and a ceremonial spear held upright, while the flanking figures wear red and gold saris with flower garlands. Green foliage fills the lower corners and a pink silk cloth covers the base. The image is a photograph of statues, not living people.2013-12-26April 23 20132013-04-23 +2 copies
