Photograph of an evening gathering on a plain floor at night. A seated man with swept-back dark hair wears an orange saffron cloth draped over his shoulders and bare arm, with a gold bangle on his wrist, and is handing a small item toward a tray of sweets and bananas on a table in front of him. A young man in a striped olive-and-yellow shirt and jeans stands before him holding an orange packet. Behind them, several men in white dhotis and orange shoulder cloths stand watching, one wearing a rudraksha mala, and a shaved-headed man in white stands on the right. The seated figure matches a Swamiji (probable) candidate by saffron clothing, swept-back hair and ceremonial gold adornment, seated and handing out offerings.
