A black stone murti of a multi-armed deity seated on a carved black pedestal, dressed in red cloth with pink-edged borders and a red headband with a jewelled pearl ornament. Several rudraksha and bead malas hang on the chest, and white and red flower garlands drape the arms. The murti stands in front of a bright red silk backdrop inside a silver-framed niche, with a small orange dot on one hand and marigold and rose petals at its base.2013-07-17July 17 20132013-07-17July 17 20132013-07-17July 14 20132013-07-14August 31 20112011-08-31October 22 20112011-10-22July 16 20132013-07-16A black stone statue of a four-armed deity murti seated on a rock base in front of a bright yellow cloth backdrop. The figure wears an orange-saffron dhoti and a draped orange shawl with a maroon sash, a multi-strand gold beaded necklace, and a gold waist belt. A red-and-orange headband is tied over the forehead, with a red tilak mark. Garlands of red roses, white flowers and yellow marigolds hang over both shoulders. Its hands hold a trident-like staff at the upper left, a drum or small vessel at the upper right, and the lower hands are in mudra poses. Small figures are carved at the base of the rock, and flower petals lie at the feet. The image is a photograph of a statue, not a living person.2011-08-19August 31 20112011-08-31January 18 20132013-01-18 +1 copiesMarch 21 20132013-03-21September 14 20142014-09-14
