In the foreground, a shaved-headed man in an orange-brown cloth wrapped over his shoulder, with a rudraksha mala around his neck and white markings on his arm, holds up a tiered brass aarti lamp with many lit oil lamps. Two painted deity murti with four arms stand in niches on either side of a doorway, which opens onto a gold-decorated shrine with a framed portrait. Brass oil lamps stand along the walls and a white marble floor reflects the flames. The man is a priest performing aarti, not a figure whose identity is established here.2013-12-01A photograph of a temple hall with blue walls and painted guardian figures in red and gold holding staffs flanking a doorway. A figure in a gold ornate throne with a white tiger-skin cloth sits in saffron robes. In the foreground a bald man in an orange sleeveless garment raises a multi-tiered brass lamp with many lit flames toward the throne, with gold and brass oil lamps standing on the floor nearby. Two or three other people in orange and white sit in the background.2013-02-26November 12 20132013-11-12April 01 20132013-04-01 +2 copiesFebruary 18 20132013-02-18March 05 20132013-03-05
