January 06 20132013-01-06A printed portrait banner hangs against a thatched roof and white cloth backdrop. It shows a smiling man in an orange turban with a red bindi, orange robes and a long rudraksha mala, one hand raised in blessing, set against a radiating orange-yellow halo on a blue background. A Tamil caption reads Paramahamsa Nithyanandar, with a verse below in red text about inviting God within. Swamiji candidate: the banner portrait shows a man in a saffron turban and rudraksha mala; the appearance cues are distinctive but the portrait is printed, so this is a depiction.2007-10-01September 23 20062006-09-23 +1 copiesA smiling man with long dark hair wears an orange turban, orange robe and a long gold-and-red garland of marigold-like flowers with green leaves, plus gold bangles and a gold armlet. He wears a long red and green flower garland with gold beads and a heavy gold necklace, plus a gold armlet. Other people and orange-clad figures fill the crowd behind, and a bus is visible in the background. Swamiji (probable): the man has long, swept-back hair, an orange turban and saffron ornate clothing with a gold necklace and garland, matching the presentation cues in the page excerpt.2011-12-20A smiling man with long dark hair wears an orange turban decorated with a silver-and-red jewelled brooch and a red tilak on his forehead. He is draped in orange saffron cloth and wears long garlands of red flowers and green leaves, with heavy gold bead necklaces and gold armlets. Behind him a bald man in orange robes with a gold bead necklace stands at left, a woman in red and orange sari appears at right, and a crowd moves along a street with a colourful ratha/chariot and a pink building in the background. Given the saffron clothing, turban, long hair and gold ornaments, this is a probable Swamiji (probable) standing in the procession and smiling warmly.2011-12-20December 20 20112011-12-20December 20 20112011-12-20December 20 20112011-12-20Close photo of a smiling man in an orange turban and orange saffron robes with a rudraksha mala draped across the chest and rudraksha bracelets on the wrist, one hand raised in greeting.
