Pink oleander-type blossoms cover much of the tray, mixed with white plumeria petals arranged in a strand-like cluster at the centre. The gold-toned tray has ornate embossed edges and a decorative rim, with small silver ritual vessels visible at the edges. No people are visible in the frame.2013-06-07Close photo of a gilded palanquin or shrine canopy, its golden arches and pillars wrapped in pink and red flower garlands. Heaped white jasmine and pink flowers fill the central seat, with a single red rose on the white blossoms. A brass oil lamp with a bright flame burns in the left foreground, and gold ornamental details surround the frame. No people are visible.2012-06-05 +1 copiesJune 25 20132013-06-25Close-up of an offering tray filled with white frangipani (plumeria) blossoms and red, pink and yellow roses, arranged around a small gold cylindrical vessel with a decorative rim and a red stone set in its top. The gold tray has an ornate engraved border. No people are visible; the flowers and brass vessel suggest a temple puja offering.2013-11-09A small metal deity murti, bronze-toned with a tall crown, is almost fully enclosed by thick garlands of pink roses, white jasmine strands and yellow and red marigolds. The figure wears a jewelled necklace and a large ornate jewelled chest piece, with hands raised in a blessing pose. Rose petals and offerings sit in a steel bowl at the right, and a gold cloth hangs in the background. No people are visible in the photograph.2006-10-24Close overhead view of a gold ceremonial tray or altar surface densely covered with white jasmine-like blossoms, interspersed with pink and magenta flowers, red ixora clusters, yellow flowers and white plumeria with yellow centres. A small gold cup-shaped vessel and a gold ornamental finial sit within the floral arrangement, and a silver bowl with a bright orange liquid. Two large magenta and yellow flowers rest on silver offering dishes at the bottom edge. No people are visible, and the scene suggests flower decoration for a puja or abhishekam.2013-07-19Close-up photograph of a pair of ornate gold sandals or padukas placed on a gold-embossed tray surrounded by pink and white flowers, including pink carnations, white jasmine and a white plumeria blossom with a yellow center. The gold footwear has raised floral and lotus-style relief carvings and small ruby-like studs on the knobs. No people are visible. The arrangement suggests a padapuja or padukas worship offering.2013-06-25Close photograph of a ritual scene dominated by a heap of pink and yellow flower petals spread across the lower frame. At the upper left, a bronze or metallic figure's bare foot rests on a sculpted base, with a purple flower garland and a yellow-orange garland draped nearby. At upper right, long white jasmine-style garlands with green leaves hang beside the petals. The image is blurred and no people are clearly visible, so this appears to be an abhishekam or padapuja offering of flowers at a murti.2006-10-21June 29 20142014-06-29 +2 copiesJune 25 20132013-06-25
