February 16 20132013-02-16A bald man in an orange-saffron kurta with a button-front collar and an orange shawl edged with a thin red stripe sits in a cream upholstered chair. He wears thin rimless-style wire-frame glasses and a dark rudraksha mala hangs over his chest. He is speaking, with one hand resting low in the frame. Behind him are green palm fronds and a framed picture showing a figure in orange robes against a gold frame.2010-09-26Close photo of a shaved-headed young man in eyeglasses standing with eyes closed, wearing an orange sannyasi wrap edged in deep red and a long rudraksha mala across his chest. He has white horizontal tilak lines and a red bindi on his forehead. Behind him, blurred seated devotees wear white clothes with red and orange shawls. The man appears to be a disciple or monk in meditative stillness; no ceremonial cues establish him as a person, so identity is uncertain.2013-03-31A shaved-headed man in orange robes and an orange head wrap sits in a carved wooden chair, wearing rimless glasses, a heavy gold bead necklace with a large gold pendant, a gold bangle, and a white horizontal tilak with a red dot on the forehead. He holds a small object near his chest in one hand, with a flower or offering visible. Behind him is a blurred open courtyard and a second orange-clad person is partially visible at the right edge, with another partial figure at the left. Appearance cues are a single seated devotee-like figure with gold beads and orange robes, but the features are not distinctive enough to confirm a particular identity, so the individual is described by role and clothing only.2009-09-27A shaved-headed man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl sits cross-legged, wearing many strands of orange and rudraksha beads, a rudraksha armband, and a pendant on a chain. He has white horizontal tilak on his forehead with a red dot, and white stripes on his arms, and holds a small brass spoon in his hands with eyes lowered. Behind him, devotees in white and orange sit in a hall. Appearance-based a person with rudraksha mala and saffron clothing; the scene suggests a ritual or satsang setting.2013-09-15A seated bald man in saffron-orange robes sits against an orange wall, wearing a yellow tilak with a red dot on his forehead, round wire-rimmed glasses, and a black-and-gold beaded mala necklace.
