He has gold armbands and wears a rudraksha-style gold pendant. Beside him on the right, a man in orange robes and an orange head wrap with rudraksha malas sits at a table. He has a red bindi and white markings on his forehead, and his eyes are closed as he reaches toward a green banana leaf on a red-draped table. The leaf holds small portions of white, yellow and orange food, plus dark seeds and fruit, consistent with a ritual offering. He wears an orange-red shawl over his shoulder and a gold-bordered dhoti, with a long rudraksha mala and a large gold ceremonial pendant on his chest. His right hand rests on his knee while his left hand is dipped into a large silver plate on a green banana leaf, which holds remnants of a food offering. An orange towel lies folded beside him, a steel water bottle stands to the right, and a small metal bowl sits at the edge of the frame.2012-10-12March 30 20162016-03-30May 25 20132013-05-25A photograph of an outdoor tented serving area where devotees in saffron and orange robes distribute food. In the foreground, a smiling man with long swept-back dark hair and a kumkum/vibhuti mark on his forehead wears an orange shawl, a thick beaded rudraksha mala with a ceremonial gold necklace, and holds a white plastic tray of rice and curry. Beside him a shaved-headed devotee in orange with a red-and-orange scarf and rudraksha beads serves rice from a brass-framed steel container, wearing clear plastic gloves. A woman in white with sandalwood-marked forehead stands behind them. The long-haired man's appearance (hair, saffron shawl, rudraksha, gold necklace) is a person candidate; his role is a server distributing a meal.2015-07-07 +1 copies
