A temple scene before a large framed backdrop of a deity murti adorned with gold ornaments, a tall crown-like headdress, a white urdhva pundra on the forehead, and garlands of yellow and red flowers. In the foreground, a bald man with a white tilak and wire-rimmed glasses stands at left, and a smiling bearded man in white-and-gold dhoti with rudraksha mala and white tilak stands beside him. A white-haired, bare-chested man with rudraksha beads is seen from behind at center, and at right a golden utsava murti covered in orange-red sandal paste with a white flower garland stands on a pedestal. Several other men in white and bare-torsoed ritual clothing are partly visible in the background.2013-02-15A photograph of a richly decorated Venkateswara-style deity murti with a tall jewelled crown, gold face with white vertical Vaishnava tilak, and elaborate gold and gemstone ornaments, framed by garlands of yellow and red flowers and a carved golden arch. In the foreground at lower left, a bearded man with white vertical tilak smiles, and a white-haired elder in a grey shawl sits closer to the camera. At right, a young man with a white tilak and orange cloth smiles beside floral offerings. The scene suggests a temple darshan or abhishekam setting with a hazy warm atmosphere. No a person candidate is clearly identifiable from appearance.2013-02-15 +1 copiesFebruary 16 20132013-02-16 +1 copiesPriests perform worship before a large framed backdrop of a Venkateswara-style deity murti with a tall conical crown and white vertical tilak, draped in red and yellow marigold garlands.
