The figure holds an orange flag on a pole over its shoulder and wears a red dhoti with gold trim. Its neck and torso are decorated with marigold and white flower garlands, and it has white markings on its chest. A red cloth and a striped object sit at its feet on a stone ledge. No people are visible; the figure is a statue.2014-01-13January 13 20142014-01-13June 15 20092009-06-15A large painted statue of the deity Hanuman stands against a white cinder-block wall. The monkey-faced figure wears a gold crown, a white and red forehead mark, and orange and pink silk draped over the shoulders, with a shimmering copper-gold lower garment. Red and white flower garlands hang around the neck and chest, and gold necklaces and armbands adorn the figure. He holds a mace in one hand and a green mountain-shaped object in the other.2009-10-17A seated figure in an orange saffron turban and orange robes sits cross-legged, raising one hand in blessing and gazing upward with a smile. A long rudraksha mala of brown beads hangs across the chest, and a red bindi marks the forehead. Behind is a wooden cabinet, a brass oil lamp with a bird-shaped spout, and a brass kalasha-style vessel with flowers, under a corrugated metal ceiling. The figure appears to be a lifelike statue or wax figure rather than a living person, so it is shown as a depiction. Swamiji (probable) cues are the swept black hair, saffron turban and rudraksha mala, but the figure is not a physical person in the scene.2009-08-08January 13 20142014-01-13A large painted statue of the monkey-faced deity Hanuman stands against a plain white block wall. The murti wears a gilded crown, orange and gold silk garments, layered gold necklaces, and a red and white flower garland. He holds a gada (mace) in one hand and a green mountain-shaped object in the other, raised overhead. A partially visible red-robed figure sits at the right edge.2009-10-17
