February 16 20132013-02-16 +1 copiesOutdoor photograph in a camp tent setting at a Kumbh Mela-style gathering. A bearded elderly sadhu sits on the ground in a sleeveless saffron-orange vest over orange dhoti, wearing a yellow turban and a red tilak on his forehead. He raises one arm holding a small bundle of metal rings or a rod-like object, while holding a pink-and-red cloth in his lap. Behind him are a green-and-yellow tarpaulin tent, bamboo poles and a woman in a turquoise sari. Newspapers lie on the ground beside him. A second orange-robed man sits partly visible at the left edge.2013-02-15 +1 copiesMay 07 20162016-05-07June 04 20062006-06-042004 - First Sannyas Deeksha At AdiKailaasa2004-07-02 +1 copiesA man seated on a red-cushioned chair on a green carpet, wearing an orange saffron turban with a red bindi on his forehead, a draped orange-saffron robe, and a long dark rudraksha mala looped across his chest. He holds the beads in his right hand while his left rests on his knee, gazing to the side. Beside him stands another person in orange robes with a gold ornament at the shoulder, and a white and blue canopy with star-motif patterns is at the right edge. Probable Swamiji (long hair under saffron turban, rudraksha mala, saffron robes), seated as an honoured guest at the event.2008-12-31A man seated on a black metal chair on green carpet, dressed in a saffron-orange robe and a matching orange turban with a red bindi on the forehead. He wears a long dark rudraksha mala draped over his shoulder and holds the beads in his right hand, while his left hand rests on his thigh. Long dark hair falls beside the turban. Behind him stands another person in orange robes wearing a gold ornamental necklace, and to the right a white canopy with a blue border and star motifs stands beside pink fabric. Mostly orange clothing dominates the frame. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, saffron turban and robe, and rudraksha mala match the appearance cues; seated in a ceremonial setting.2008-12-31A man sits on a metal folding chair on a green carpet in front of a blue and white draped tent, with red carpet and sound equipment behind him. He wears an orange turban with a red tilak mark on his forehead, an orange shawl draped over one shoulder and body, and a dark rudraksha mala, with long dark hair falling past his shoulders. He holds the beads of the mala in both hands in his lap while looking off to the side. Several people in the background sit under a pink canopy near speakers and audio gear. Appearance-based candidate for Swamiji (probable), seated in orange robes with rudraksha and long hair.2008-12-31February 16 20132013-02-16April 12 20132013-04-12 +1 copiesA man stands outdoors against a soft green blurred background, wearing a bright orange turban and an orange draped robe over his bare right shoulder. He wears a long rudraksha mala of brown beads across his chest and a small red mark on his forehead. He holds a tall dark wooden staff with a rounded handle in his right hand and looks downward. The appearance matches the cues of a saffron-clad sannyasi with long hair and rudraksha beads, but the identity is uncertain, so he is described by role.2006-10-10July 30 20142014-07-30
