A seated man in long swept-back dark hair, orange and rust robes with an orange shawl, layered beaded necklaces and bangles, sits on an ornate gold throne and places his hand on the forehead of a kneeling man in white dhoti and shawl with rudraksha beads on his arm. Behind them are red and orange draped fabrics, silver trident standards and a tasselled orange banner. The photo appears to show a blessing or initiation moment. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, ornate gold and beaded adornments, saffron-orange clothing, and a throne; the seated figure is described by role as the one giving the blessing.2013-02-08February 08 20132013-02-08February 08 20132013-02-08A photograph of a ceremonial moment in front of an ornate gilded throne backdrop with red draped fabric. The seated figure is in front of golden lion-head armrests, and a tall silver staff with a carved top stands beside them. Behind them are a gold-framed picture, red upholstered chairs and a warm orange backdrop. The scene is a blessing or initiation moment at a satsang-style gathering. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, bare-chested with an orange-red shawl, rudraksha-style garland and ceremonial gold armrests.2014-05-13August 10 20172017-08-10A seated man in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back hair, a gold multi-strand necklace, a rudraksha mala and gold pendants is on a silver ornate throne with a leopard-print cushion. He touches a bindi-like mark on the forehead of a bare-chested young man in white cloth. Beside them a standing woman in orange wrap with long dreadlocks and white body markings rests a hand on the young man's shoulder. A wooden staff topped with a silver finial leans against the throne, and red drapery hangs behind. Swamiji (probable) appears as the seated figure on the throne, identified by his distinctive saffron robes, swept-back hair and gold ornaments, with the young man receiving blessing and an attendant assisting.2017-11-19July 11 20142014-07-11A seated man with long dark hair and a brown rudraksha-style shawl, wearing a maroon garment, extends his right hand to touch the forehead of a young boy with a shaved head, who stands with palms pressed together in namaste. The boy wears an orange and gold-bordered garment and a beaded necklace, and has white tilak marks on his forehead and arms. Behind them a golden trident (trishul) stands near a maroon draped altar with ornate gold necklaces hanging above. A woman in white kneels in the background, and another standing figure in orange robes with white ash marks is at the right edge. Greenery frames the left side.
