A photograph of an evening ritual in a temple hall with an orange-painted wall. On a raised stage, a fire burns in a fire pit before an ornately decorated golden throne-like seat draped with red and orange garlands and a richly dressed deity murti. Two young priests in white dhotis, one bare-chested, sit on the stage tending the homa with offerings and brass vessels. Behind them a dark statue stands on a pedestal. Rows of seated people in dark maroon robes sit on the floor facing the stage, with an empty red chair at the right edge. Potted plants frame the scene. No a person candidate is visibly identifiable in this image, so no appearance-based identification is made.2013-02-26February 26 20132013-02-26 +1 copiesFebruary 26 20132013-02-26 +1 copiesFebruary 26 20132013-02-26 +2 copiesA photograph of a ritual hall during a homa or puja. Seated on an orange cushioned chair at right is a figure in red-orange robes wearing a garland, with a golden lion sculpture beside him; the appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so he is described only by role. A shaved-headed attendant in orange stands at far right. Seated devotees in orange and yellow clothes fill the foreground, and a brass lamp and offering bowls sit on the stage. Strings of lights and a banner hang at upper left.2015-11-13 +1 copiesFebruary 22 20162016-02-22 +1 copiesJuly 09 20132013-07-09Night-time ritual on an open-sided stage under a corrugated roof.
